Cutting Edge Adventures
was formed in 1994 to assist local communities in getting a toe hold into tourism in Vanuatu The aim of the company was to create sustainable development opportunities for communities so that they could better manage and control natural resources and traditional customs. Today Cutting Edge Adventures employs over 30 people on a rotational employment system and has gifted 60% of equity back to the communities for the future generations. Cutting Edge Adventures was Founded by Derek French. The partners in the company are Kalmet Community and Chief Andrew Pakoa Kalpolep of Eratap.

Our Environmental Business Model is to foster sustainable development for the communities of Vanuatu. So you will be happy to know that we are primarily here to provide employment and income for the communities you visit in Vanuatu.

Our Waterworld Tours are fully guided expeditions around the islands of Vanuatu for a close up marine experience using the latest Kayak technologies to explore the coastlines, islands and sea caves around Vanuatu's many islands in comfort and stability. See the extensive marine life around Vanuatu in one of the worlds top dive locations. Visits to local villages, jungle treks, participation in cultural activities such as weaving, and discovery of WWII wrecks whether located deep in the sea or deep in the jungle. We have included links to our photo gallery of random photos taken during our tours to give you an insight of our trips. All meals including seafood, are provided during the trip. Surcharges: Apply to all "Waterworld" Adventures where there is less than the minimum of 4 persons, 20% for 1-2 clients & 10% for 3 clients.

Daily and Half Daily River and Sea Kayaking trips are available so you can experience the Vanuatu communities and marine life in a relaxed fashion where time is short.
